Need help with Aloud, or have a question, bug report, or feature request? Here's how to reach us and what to check first.
For any issue — a bug, a crash, a scan that came back wrong, or anything else — email rajiadeoye410@gmail.com. Include your device model and iOS version if you can; it helps us reproduce the issue faster.
Scanning sends a photo to Anthropic’s Claude API and needs an internet connection. Check your connection first. If a scan still fails, try again — if it keeps failing, email us with the approximate time it happened.
Aloud offers on-device voices (instant, no network needed), two Nigerian voices (Jude and Idera), and six OpenAI voices (Alloy, Echo, Fable, Nova, Onyx, and Shimmer) — the hosted voices use a third-party speech service and need a network connection to work. If a voice sounds wrong or won’t play, check Settings → Voice, and confirm your device’s volume and silent switch.
Aloud needs camera access to scan and, optionally, photo library access to scan an existing picture. If you denied a permission by mistake, re-enable it in iOS Settings → Aloud.
Your scan history lives only on your device. Delete any entry from History at any time, or uninstall the app to remove all of it at once. See our Privacy Policy for details.
